Club success

(Left) Success at the NIAS Field Archery Championships for Michael Ferguson, Sharon Hamilton and Andy Haggan. Michael picking up the Gents Compound Barebow, Sharon won Ladies Trad and Most Improved Archer at the Field Champs while Andy won Gents Longbow.

(Right) Hilary returns triumphant from the British Indoor Barebow Championships at Lileshall once again as UK Ladies Longbow Champion, setting a new national record of 447 on the way and equaling the best men's score. Don't know what happened there Hilary you usually beat the men. Hilary is presented with her Medal and Shield as NI Indoor Ladies Longbow Champion by Andy Hagan, President of the Northern Ireland Archery Society. Looking on are Sean Fegan, Leisure Centre Shift Manager, Noel and Alvin.

Extraordinary General Meeting

As per the club members request an Extraordinary General Meeting is to be held in Ards Rugby Club on the 25th November see events calendar for details.

Club Christmas Dinner will be held at the Clandeboye Lodge on the 27th November dont forget your secret Santa presents....

Shanes Castle Have A Go Results


The results of the competition held at the recent Game Fair held in Shane's Castle are given below.  Congratulations to all who took part, regardless of their score but especially to Ciaran Johnston from Toomebridge who wins the £50 prize with an astounding 58 points!

  • Fund Raising


    The Club is supporting the work of the Mitre Trust this season.  The Mitre Trust is a charity based in Musgrave Hospital and encourages rehabilitation after severe trauma.  There will be three ballots during the season, any further donations would be welcomed.  The total so far stands at £623.

    Meetings


    The Club practice nights are on Thursdays at the Ards Rugby Club from 7.00pm
    The next Meeting will be the Annual general Meeting at Ards Rugby Club on the 2nd September at 7.30pm. Members of LCB are invited to attend
